Kyra Baker is a fact-checker with nearly 10 years of experience working and assisting on editorial projects within the culture, arts, and publishing spaces. For the past eight years, she has worked as a fact-checker at Art Papers Magazine, published by Art Papers, a nonprofit organization with an educational mission to provide accessible forums for presenting contemporary art and culture in the world today. 

Kyra has fact-checked and edited for Rosarium Publishing, the publishers of the science fiction anthology, "Mothership: Tales from Afrofuturism and Beyond."

Kyra earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California, studying specifically political science and cinematic arts.
